Helicopter Pilot True Cost Calculator

Sticker prices rarely tell the whole story. This Excel workbook lets you enter real quotes from schools and see the total for each rating, a low, expected and high scenario, and the monthly payment if you finance.

• Pre-filled only with figures we could source, each labeled with where it came from.
• Highlighted blank cells wherever you need a quote from your school.
• Warns you when blank inputs are being counted as $0.
• Covers private, instrument and commercial ratings, exam fees, medical, gear, insurance, living costs and financing.

The calculator gives estimates, not quotes. It does not model sales tax, fuel surcharges, retests or lost income. Always get written pricing from any school you are considering.
